Life Coaching as a profession is growing faster than any other form of personal growth. Today, Life Coaching is considered mainstream. It has not always been this way. The coaching profession was started by the late Thomas Leonard.

Thomas was a certified financial planner and found himself being ask by his clients to assist them in solving personal problems and helping them make important choices in
their life. Thomas started offering his services on a limited basis. Soon he found he
could make a living offering to support and challenge his clients, so the profession was born. Thomas had a client who suggested he call his services " Life Coaching."

The profession was growing at a remarkable rate, with new coaching schools and organizations opening. On February 11th, 2003, Thomas passed away from a sudden
heart attack. He is missed by the entire coaching community.

Since his passing, many changes have taken place in the coaching community. Having been on the front line during this time of transition, I have seen the profession grow in many new directions, including the introduction of Life Coaching to the Natural Health Community, with Massage Therapist leading the way.

The future is bright for Life Coaching and the many new alliances that are being formed between Life Coaches, Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and other Natural Health
Care Professionals.
