COACH OF THE MONTH
March 4, 2004 Life Coach News is proud to present you our “Coach of the Month”. Each month we will be spotlighting another coach who has given to the coaching community. Life Coach News would like to recognize Alison Boudreau, a Healthy Lifestyles Coach, for her successes in helping folks achieve their goals to “get healthy – both physically and mentally”. Clients are losing weight, eliminating stress, gaining confidence, feeling motivated, having quality time, and building strong support networks. They are re-connecting with themselves, their partner and children. In short – they are getting their lives back! Alison is considered a “real-life fairy godmother” to gay, bi and lesbian clients, since she effectively turns their wishes and dreams into reality. Folks go to her feeling stressed-out at work, overwhelmed about relationships, frustrated about having no free time, or isolated and alone. They leave reenergized with having new positive options that brings them life balance, quality time, and passion back into their relationships. One of her current clients said, “Alison’s unique coaching style provides a supportive yet dynamic environment in which I've been able to discover my authentic self. She helps guide me with effective methods for envisioning and creating my own accounting company. Our meetings are the highlight of my week. I highly recommend her!" Another client said, “I want to thank you Alison for encouraging and showing me the great benefits of being able to allow for humanity in every day. You have a wonderful gift of being able to create a nurturing, positive, powerful, enlightening environment with structure in which to facilitate change and new beginnings. But most of all, thank you for listening”. Alison describes herself as once being a, “awkward-fat-miserable-and-stressed-out chick”. She decided to “get her life back” and took matters into her own hands. In three short years she 1) lost 50 lbs, 2) ran three marathons and became a marathon coach for 100 new runners at DanvilleFit.com, 3) finished the 17-hour Iroman Canada to help raise $500,000 for charity, 4) had her Ironman bio published in David Jacobson’s book ‘Inspiration to Perspiration; the 4 Essential Steps to Achieving Your Goals”, and 5) left her high tech job to attend grad school. As a Healthy Lifestyles Coach, Alison relates to her clients needs
since she’s walked in their shoes of feeling unfulfilled in life.
Her mission is to experience great connection and presence by inspiring
others to achieve their wishes and dreams in a healthy manner. She
advises, trains and helps others in 7 Key Strategies to Achieve More
Goals in Less Time. She helps to identify goals and formulate an action
plan to achieve them. |
